BIO

Hello! My name is Melena Scott. I am a recent graduate of Rider University with my BA in Theatre Design & Technology. During my undergrad program, I had the opportunity to work hands on with various forms of technical theatre. This has lead to me finding my passion in Scenic Design and Artistry.

While at Rider University, I was given the opportunity to be Scenic Designer of 3 productions. In addition to these designs, I have worked in the scene shop as a Scenic Artist and Paint Charge for 3 years. This past summer I worked at Shenandoah Summer Music Theatre as a Scenic Artist.

I enjoy creating designs and artwork that spark conversations within communities and audiences. Being apart of a collaborative creative environment is where I thrive.
